Poet Mr. Kim Wang sik

 

Il poeta Kim Wang-sik è poeta, saggista e critico letterario. Ha insegnato alla Osan High School di Seul per vent'anni prima di essere invitato a far parte di ETOOS Education Broadcasting, dove ha tenuto lezioni di scrittura di saggi, esami orali e sezione linguistica per l'Università Nazionale di Polizia della Corea, accademie militari e istituti di formazione professionale. Attualmente dirige la Cheongram Gifted School, la Cheongramseoru Publishing House e la Korean Cheongram Literary Society, oltre a lavorare come giornalista per OK News.

Poet Mr. Kim Wang-sik is a poet, essayist, and literary critic. He served as a teacher at Osan High School in Seoul for twenty years before being invited to join ETOOS Education Broadcasting, where he lectured on essay writing, oral examinations, and the language section for the Korea National Police University, Military academies, and Colleges of education. He currently runs Cheongram Gifted School, Cheongramseoru Publishing House, and the Korean Cheongram Literary Society, while also working as a journalist for OK News.

 

 

The Song of the Wind

 

The invisible thing travels furthest,

The wind was proof of this.

It circled the world without form,

 

Without form, it circled the world,

shaking petals, drying tears,

leaving not even its name behind.

 

The wind passed, becoming a trace,

and within that trace, a fragrance lingered.

People heard its song

not with their ears, but with their hearts.

 

Even in silence, the wind was there,

an invisible breath,

binding the world together.

 

 

바람의 노래

 

보이지 않는 것이 가장 멀리 간다

바람은 그 증거였다

 

형체 없이 세상을 돌며

꽃잎을 흔들고 눈물을 말렸다

그 이름조차 남기지 않았다

 

바람은 지나가며 흔적이 되었다

그 흔적 속에 향기가 남았다

사람은 그 노래를 귀가 아니라

마음으로 들었다

 

고요 속에도 바람은 있었다

보이지 않음으로

세상을 잇는 숨이었다
