È il fondatore di “Epikouro Emeis Hellas”, un’iniziativa che incarna il vero significato della parola epikouro: proteggere, sostenere, difendere; offrire forza morale e sollievo emotivo; stare accanto a un altro essere umano nei momenti di bisogno— anche quando questo sostegno consiste semplicemente nell’ascoltare il suo dolore.
Epikouro non è solo un’azione: è uno spirito. Collettivo e disinteressato. Non individualistico. Senza colore—neutrale e oltre ogni divisione. Generoso e dinamico. Una forza trainante. Al di sopra del denaro. Etico e umanitario. Onesto. Offerto senza aspettarsi nulla in cambio.
Parallelamente, Dimitris Christodoulopoulos è Capo dei Vigili del Fuoco Volontari di Voula e, dal 1992, contribuisce attivamente come soccorritore volontario, partecipando agli interventi in caso di catastrofi naturali e situazioni di emergenza. Il suo coinvolgimento è sempre stato guidato da un unico principio: la protezione della vita umana e dell’ambiente naturale.
È inoltre membro della Hellenic Frogmen Association, che rappresenta veterani e affiliati delle unità d’élite delle Forze Speciali dell’Esercito e della Marina greca, un’organizzazione con una lunga e rispettata storia di servizio. Il suo passato all’interno di questo contesto è segnato da un’importante azione sociale e comunitaria, riflesso di disciplina, responsabilità e di un profondo senso del dovere portato oltre il servizio militare, nella vita civile.

Come giornalista, è membro della International Union of Cretan Journalists and Mass Media e co‑fondatore dell’Hellenic Media Group, una rete giornalistica volontaria impegnata in un’informazione etica, indipendente e centrata sull’essere umano, dando voce ai reali bisogni e alle preoccupazioni della società.

He is the founder of “Epikouro Emeis Hellas,” an initiative that embodies the true meaning of the word epikouro: to safeguard, support, and protect; to offer moral strength and emotional relief; to stand beside another human being in times of need— even when that support takes the form of simply listening to their pain.

In parallel, Dimitris Christodoulopoulos serves as the Head of the Volunteer Firefighters of Voula, and since 1992 he has actively contributed as a volunteer rescuer, participating in responses to natural disasters and emergency situations. His involvement has always been guided by a single principle: the protection of human life and the natural environment.
He is also a member of the Hellenic Frogmen Association, representing veterans and affiliates of the elite Special Forces units of the Hellenic Army and Navy—an organization with a long‑standing and respected history of service. His past involvement within this framework is marked by significant social and community‑oriented action, reflecting discipline, responsibility, and a deep sense of duty carried beyond military service into civilian life.
His contribution further extends into the field of journalism. As a journalist, he is a member of the International Union of Cretan Journalists and Mass Media and a co‑founder of the Hellenic Media Group, a volunteer‑based journalistic network committed to ethical, independent, and human‑centered reporting, giving voice to society’s real needs and concerns.

Το Επίκουρο δεν είναι απλώς μια πράξη· είναι ένα πνεύμα. Συλλογικό και ανιδιοτελές. Μη ατομικιστικό. Χωρίς χρώμα—ουδέτερο και πέρα από διαχωρισμούς. Μεγάλο στην καρδιά και δυναμικό. Παράλληλα, ο Δημήτρης Χριστοδουλόπουλος υπηρετεί ως Επικεφαλής των Εθελοντών Πυροσβεστών Βούλας, ενώ από το 1992 συμμετέχει ενεργά ως εθελοντής διασώστης, λαμβάνοντας μέρος σε επιχειρήσεις αντιμετώπισης φυσικών καταστροφών και επειγόντων περιστατικών. Η δράση του καθοδηγείται πάντα από μία αρχή: την προστασία της ανθρώπινης ζωής και του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος.
Είναι επίσης μέλος της Ένωσης Ελλήνων Βατραχανθρώπων, που εκπροσωπεί βετεράνους και μέλη των επίλεκτων Ειδικών Δυνάμεων του Ελληνικού Στρατού και του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού, ένας οργανισμός με μακρά και σεβαστή ιστορία προσφοράς.
