PONTI DI PAROLE: LA LETTERATURA COME DIALOGO TRA CULTURE

Questo articolo intende rendere omaggio a tutti coloro che, attraverso la parola scritta e pronunciata, costruiscono ponti invisibili tra popoli e culture. Agli scrittori, ai lettori, a chi diffonde la parola; a coloro che credono che la poesia—scritta con l’inchiostro o digitata su una tastiera—resti un atto di resistenza in un’epoca dominata dall’intelligenza artificiale, che tenta di sostituire il pensiero profondo dell’essere umano, ma che non trova terreno fertile in chi continua a custodire il sogno e la voce poetica.

In un contesto globale segnato da divisioni geopolitiche, tensioni culturali e mancanza di comprensione reciproca, la letteratura continua a rappresentare uno degli strumenti più potenti per superare le distanze, avvicinare le differenze e costruire ponti là dove spesso si vedono solo barriere.

Negli ultimi anni, ho avuto il privilegio di partecipare in prima persona a questo dialogo interculturale, attraverso collaborazioni profonde e autentiche con autori e autrici provenienti da diversi Paesi. Scambi letterari sinceri, traduzioni, interviste, critiche, progetti editoriali: ogni gesto ha contribuito alla creazione di una rete di voci che si ascoltano e si rispettano reciprocamente.

Anche i social network, se utilizzati con consapevolezza critica e sensibilità culturale, possono diventare piattaforme preziose per lo scambio intellettuale. Pur avendoli esplorati tardi, fin dall’inizio ho cercato spazi in cui la letteratura, la poesia e il pensiero estetico fossero centrali. Da queste ricerche sono nate amicizie virtuali ma durature, fondate sulla condivisione di esperienze letterarie ed emotive. Anche un semplice commento a una poesia può contenere un atto profondo di dialogo e riconoscimento reciproco.

Ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare molti autori e autrici straordinari, provenienti da contesti linguistici e culturali differenti. Alcuni li ho scoperti attraverso la loro produzione poetica, altri grazie a collaborazioni editoriali o a scambi occasionali sui social. Ognuno di loro ha lasciato un’impronta particolare nel mio percorso intellettuale, e per questo provo una profonda gratitudine.

Non farò nomi, per evitare il rischio di escludere involontariamente qualcuno—perché ogni incontro è stato importante, ogni parola condivisa ha avuto valore, e ogni gesto di stima ha contribuito alla costruzione di questo itinerario letterario.

A tutti voi, colleghi e colleghe della parola scritta, dedico questo pensiero: la letteratura non è mai un viaggio solitario. È un ponte tra culture, un abbraccio tra lingue, un atto di fiducia nel potere della parola. E quando le parole si incontrano, anche i cuori si riconoscono.

BRIDGES OF WORDS: LITERATURE AS A DIALOGUE BETWEEN CULTURES

This article is a tribute to all those who, with their voices, weave invisible threads between peoples. To those who write, those who read, those who share. To those who believe that poetry—whether written in ink or typed on a computer—is still, and always will be, an act of resistance against the AI that now seeks to replace the soul’s thoughts, yet finds no fertile ground in us—us, whose hearts are so full of dreams and poetry that we can share them all the way to the stars.

In a world marked by borders, tensions, and misunderstandings, literature remains one of the few languages capable of uniting what is distant, of bringing differences closer, of building bridges where others see only walls.

In recent years, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing this cultural dialogue firsthand, through deep and authentic collaborations with writers from various countries. Honest exchanges, shared words, dedicated book covers, literary critiques, interviews, translations—each gesture has helped weave a tapestry of voices that listen to and respect one another.

Even social media, when used wisely, can become a space for genuine exchange. I myself joined them rather late, but from the start, I sought out poetry, books, authors. And from there, virtual yet real friendships were born—built on the sharing of words, readings, emotions. Commenting on a poem, even with just a few lines, is an act that contains dialogue, exchange, and listening. It’s a way of saying: “I read you. I heard you. Your words touched me.”

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to meet many extraordinary writers from different countries, languages, and cultures. Some I discovered through their poems, others through interviews, editorial collaborations, letters, or simple comments on social media. Each one has left a mark on my journey, and to each I offer my deepest gratitude.

I won’t name names, so as not to risk forgetting anyone—because every encounter has been and remains important, every shared word has had meaning, every gesture of appreciation has helped build a piece of this path.

To all of you, fellow writers, I dedicate this thought: literature is a journey that is never taken alone. Literature is a bridge between cultures, an embrace between languages, an act of trust. And when words meet, hearts recognize each other too.
